Aktion Club Theatre Of Mankato

What is Aktion Club?
Aktion Club Theatre is collaborative Community Theatre for Self-Advocates and their Allies: “Where people, art, and community partner for a brighter, more inclusive future for all.”

The theatre club’s focus revolves around:

  • Social Justice issues related to disabilities
  • Raise community awareness about issues people with disabilities face
  • Embracing everyone’s abilities within the group
  • Sharing everyone’s gifts and talents

Aktion Club meets twice monthly.  At the meeting you will expect a short business meeting followed by an hour of theatre work, which includes singing, dancing, and script work.

When: First and Third Tuesdays of every month
Time: 6:30 PM-8:00 PM
Where: Centenary United Methodist Church at the corner of South Second and Cherry Streets in downtown Mankato.
